HARMZ – “Early 20’s”

Halifax artist HARMZ delivers a genre-blending experience on his latest project Early 20’s. The album moves effortlessly between hiphop, rap, pop, and rock. A defining element of the project is its retro 80s-inspired aesthetic. From synth-leaning production to the album artwork and overall presentation, Early 20’s embraces a nostalgic visual and sonic style that gives the project a cohesive, throwback feel.

Beyond music, HARMZ continues expanding his creative reach as a filmmaker. His short film Doc: Am I OK? explores emotional themes and recently helped earn him a nomination for Video Director of the Year at the East Coast Music Awards (ECMAs). HARMZ is also a key contributor helping build the local scene as a co-founder of the Nova Scotia collective PRZM, supporting artists like Alvaro, BASYL, Jéa, Kayo, Quoia, and States, while hosting the podcast Behind the Sound, which highlights voices from across the East Coast.

As a multidisciplinary artist working across music, film, and visual storytelling, HARMZ approaches Early 20’s with a bigger creative lens. The result is a one-of-one project where sound, aesthetic, and identity all connect, giving listeners a deeper look into his evolving artistry.
