Los Angeles-based producer and guitarist Go Yama shares his brand new single, “Starfish Symphony.” This latest release is a key piece of Rumi — Go Yama’s upcoming children’s novel and original soundtrack inspired by psychologist Dacher Keltner’s work and the importance of preserving curiosity and wonder.
To pursue this bold, multidisciplinary project, Go Yama has teamed up with longtime friend and musical collaborator Paul Chin to launch a new label, Sanzuwu Group. Under this new imprint, the Rumi project — a seamless fusion of literature and sound — is slated for release in 2025.
“Starfish Symphony” is a vibrant genre-blending track that showcases Go Yama’s signature style: smooth, soulful guitar licks laced over hard-hitting drums and deep, resonant 808s. The song weaves together elements of electronic, rock, and hip-hop, pushing genre boundaries with fearless creativity.
